Human Woman is a combination of two “extraordinares”: Jón Atli (a.k.a Sexy Lazer) & Gísli Galdur (a.k.a Galdur)

Galdur is a former member of electronic pop band Trabant and has been a essential part of various bands including Ghostdigital and Quarashi. After years of touring internationally, he began composing for theatres in Iceland, taking his career to a whole new level. His work did not go unnoticed and he was awarded with the prestigious drama award Gríman for best score. Along side his composing, he stays true to his DJ roots as one of Iceland’s most popular DJs. He is in demand, and known for his music mix from all genres making every night he plays a night to remember.

Sexy Lazer is known for playing in various bands. Most recently he has been collaborating with Kasper Björke playing bass and making remixes that get people moving on dance floors and leave the crowd screaming for more. Also one of Iceland’s most renowned DJs, he has been spinning at well known clubs in various cities around the world. He is known as the mood manager of the party scene in Reykjavik and tours with the band GusGus making sure the mood is right. “Being a mood manager is a hard job but it´s well rewarded” Sexy Lazer.
Coming together in the studio the pair have forged a fantastic fusion of modern electronic pop, with their debut single, “Delusional”. The EP release serves as a teaser for the upcoming debut album, which is planned for spring 2012.
Taking influences right across the board, the duo have cooked up a sensual, catchy indie-dance track that’s pleasingly reminiscent of the 80s, yet carries a great modern sheen thanks to the production skills of Human Woman. Cinematic, feel-good music for travelling, for friends, for living.
