LungA Residents er nýr þáttur á síðasta ári LungA. Í stað þess að hýsa margar sýningar í firðinum, munu listamennirnir okkar hafa viku til að kanna, hugsa, skapa og mynda ný tengsl á meðan þau dvelja á Seyðisfirði í sinni eigin, persónulegu skapandi vinnusmiðju.
Í vikunni munu LungA Residents skipuleggja með LungA teyminu viðburði eða sjálfsprottnar uppákomur sem verða auglýstar í daglegri dagskrá okkar á Instagram og í Herðubreið.
Nuha Ruby Ra
Nuha Ruby Ra er breskur tónlistarmaður og gjörningalistamaður. Eftir útgáfu á tveimur EP-plötum, þar á meðal nýjustu EP hennar 'Machine Like Me' sem kom í mars 2023 og er metnaðarfyllsta verk hennar til þessa, hefur Nuha verið stöðugt á tónleikaferðalagi um Bretland og Evrópu með hljómsveitum eins og Self Esteem, Yard Act, Warmduscher, King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizard og fleiri. Hún hefur komið fram á mörgum hátíðum víðs vegar um Bretland og Evrópu, þar á meðal Glastonbury, The Great Escape, Green Man, og á síðasta ári lék hún á LungA! Á þessu ári mun Nuha ganga til liðs við tattú ráðstefnuna með nýtt verkefni sem kallast UNTAMED YOUTH.
Sam Tyler
Sam Tyler (hann) býr til heimildarþætti fyrir útvarp úftrá áhuga hans á tónlist og sögur sem endurspegla upplifanir fólks sem hafa ekki fengið mikinn hljómgrunn. Sam er með aðsetur í London og hefur þaðan unnið fyrir fjölda útvarpsstöðva og hlaðvarpa.
Sam gaf út hlaðvarps-seríu árið 2023 sem heitir There Are No Greater Heroes, sem segir sögu sértrúarsveitarinnar Tony, Caro & John og frá undarlega tónlistarlífi þeirra. Sumarið 2024 sendir Sam frá sér aðra heimildarmyndaröð sína sem heitir Sonic Fields, podcast í sjö hlutum sem segir frá árslangri djúpköfun í sögu breskra tónlistarhátíða. Sam hittir skipuleggjendur og tónlistarunnendur og lærir um öflin sem hafa mótað söguna síðan seint á sjöunda áratugnum, áður en hann fer í svimandi sumarævintýri yfir hátíðir nútímans og reynir að finna sinn stað í þessu öllu, og nú á LungA.

Sara Björg
Sara Björg is an Icelandic artist that graduated from the Iceland University of Arts in 2015 and has since then exhibited and taken part in projects all around Europe and the USA.
Through an investigation of space and material, she manipulates the physicality of perspective to stimulate viewers’ senses and attention. She embraces restrictions and the elements on sight to create a tangible enterprise that prioritizes the momentary experience and the presence of art over its permanence or conservation.

Coby Sey
Coby Sey is a songwriter, producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and DJ, who, after years spent buzzing around the DIY artist circuitry of South East London, has developed a distinctive presence as an artist and performer.
Coby’s recorded work spans the realms of live instrumentation, sample-based productions and experimental music, melding recognisable motifs of hip-hop, noise, jazz and grime into a dubbed-out anaesthesia. On stage, the dreamlike compositions are imbued with a heavy, uneasy dancefloor energy, and fleshed out by live instrumentation courtesy of his revolving band of close South East London cohorts including Alpha Maid, Ben Vince, Charlie Hope, CJ Calderwood and Momoko “MettaShiba” Gill.

Ásta Fanney Sigurðardóttir is a poet, a practising visual artist as well as a composer, singer and filmmaker. She has published 5 books and exhibited and performed her art, music and poetry in festivals and museums around the world.
Ásta Fanney’s work is often elusive and brings us the evanescence of dreams. Her poetics and approach to the structure of sound, words and visuals make an interesting combination where a performance, a gesture or an act is often the highlight of her work.
